    Kaju katli is made of cashews, sugar syrup, and milk and garnished with silver leaf or saffron. The melt-in-the-mouth dessert is cut into diamond-shaped squidgy bites that gradually start melting into a delightfully sweet experience. Are you planning to make your festive vibe sweeter? Here's some great 'how to make easy kaju katli' recipe ideas for a quick sugar fix when craving the taste of the most-loved cashew-based Indian dessert. 

    Preparation Method for Kaju Katli Recipe

    Step 1:

    Grind the overnight soaked cashew until they turn powder-like.

    Step 2:

    Heat sugar and water on a low flame. Keep heating until the blend of sugar and water turns into a thick paste-like syrup. (Use a pan).

    Step 3:

    Grease a plate/tray and keep aside.

    Step 4:

    Once the sugar dissolves, add the cashew powder. Keep stirring the mixture on a low flame until it blends well together.

    Step 5:

    Take off the mixture from the pan and place it on a plate. Add rose petals/saffron and ghee to the hot mixture. Flatten the Katli dough and place it on a greased tray.

    Step 6:

    Place butter paper and roll the dough gently from all sides till you attain a thickness of around 3-5mm.

    Step 7:

    Take off the butter paper, and let the rolled dough cool. Gently place the silver leaf on it. Cut the dough into diamond shapes & separate the sweets with a butter knife.

    Step 8:

    Garnish with rose petals or saffron strands & enjoy!
