Waking up for dua suhoor is quite a task during Ramadan, especially if you’re not an early riser.   • Date Milkshake

Ingredients:

Dates – 1 cup

Milk – 750 ml

Method:

Add dates to a food processor or blender and grind until you see a coarse mixture. Add milk to the blender and blend until a thick shake is formed. Refrigerate for 1 hour to enjoy it chilled.

 

  • Quinoa in Instant Pot

Ingredients:

Quinoa – 1 cup

Water – 1 cup

Method:

In an instant pot, add quinoa and water in equal measures. Close the lid, press the steam button, and set the timer for 5 minutes. Once the pressure builds up, release it carefully following the instructions mentioned in your instant pot manual.

Your perfectly fluffy quinoa will be ready to relish for suhoor. This recipe serves 2.

 

  • Strawberry / Raspberry Sorbet

Ingredients:

Strawberry or Raspberry - 1 cup

Honey – ½ cup

Method:

In a blender add 1 cup strawberries or raspberries and blend for 2 minutes. Once the thick paste is formed add ½ cup honey and blend again. Freeze for 1 hour to enjoy it chilled.

 

  • Coconut Date Balls

Ingredients:

Scraped Coconut – 200 grams

Dates – 200 grams

Method:

Add dates and scraped coconut in a blender and grind until a thick paste is formed. Once thick enough remove the mixture from the blender and prepare round balls of it. You can find Indian groceries like coconut and other Ramadan Essentials items on Quicklly.
