5 Indian Soup Recipes to Keep You Warm In Winters

1. SOUTH INDIAN RASAM

Recipe: Cook pumpkin in a pressure cooker with onion, garlic and water. Once cooked, blend it until smooth. Add olive oil and mix it well before adding the herbs. Add salt and mix well. If needed, add grated cheese to make it creamier. 

 

3. POTATO AND ONION SOUP

4. CREAM OF CARROT SOUP

Ingredients: Carrot, Onion and Potato, milk, fresh cream, salt and black pepper. 

Recipe: Cook the carrot, onion, potato with water in a pressure cooker. Let it cool down, then put it in the mixer to make a smooth puree. Strain it once done. Put mixture into a non-stick pan, add salt and mix well. Add milk, fresh cream and pepper and continue mixing. Your soup will soon be ready to serve. 

 

5. CARROT ONION SOUP

Ingredients: Chopped carrots, onions, olive oil, apples, mixed herbs, low fat milk, salt, black pepper. 

Recipe: Heat olive oil in a pressure cooker, add some onions and saute them. Once they start to brown, add carrots, apples. Add water and cook. Let the steam inside escape the cooker, then open the lid. Transfer mixture into a non-stick pan, add herbs, milk, water, salt, pepper, then mix it well. Enjoy it while you binge watch!
